"Being
In The Moment"
Being
in the Moment was inspired from my trip to Greece. This scene was
painted from an archeological dig right downtown Athens in the heart
of the shopping district of the Plaka. I was fascinated and inspired
with the images of the past surrounded by the present which took
me into a meditative state. This scene left me with a message of
peace and knowing to stay in the moment and not to let the past
get in my way. It is a beautiful reminder for all of us to live
for today and be in the moment.
"Being
In The Moment" is painted with watercolors, while using faint
washes and then slowly building up deeper colors in certain areas.
I
then moved on to acrylics painted with various sized brushes and
a small palette knife. Inks are used to enhance shadow detail. The
piece is finished with a glossy gel medium to complete the magic.
